Shallow basin
Perfect, especially when it's not necessary to dig deep to remove storm water. The pump will only alow a certain level into the basin regardless of depth. I will alway use the sallow 1.

Q: Is the cover on this unit removable? What is the diameter and depth of the basin (without the cover)?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe entire top piece cannot be taken off, however there is a lid within the unit that can be removed. The depth is 15", the top diameter is 16.5" and the bottom diameter is 12 1/4". (The diameter on top never changes.)
