5.5-ASPA 1/4 HP, 35 GPM - Submersible Sump Pump, 10ft power cord

Had a small pit that required intermittent pumping, this met the specs and I like that it has dependable snap action switch and well known manufacturer.

I bought this pump to replace the same brand & similar pump, that had been in my sunken patio area for almost 20 years. Is great quality, works fantastic, and Supply House delivered it very quickly, which was important due to a lot of rain that was heading my way! Pumps the water out at a very fast speed.

We use this pump for our in-ground pool house and it works great!

I run sprinklers from rain barrels. The lower attachment for the float breaks after 5 years or so, so I bought another two pumps so I don't have to move them around. The power cord - plug joint at the wall end could be reinforced. I have retired one pump after the outer casing tore.

This one will eventually replace the exact kind I have in the crawlspace now...it is a back-up. The one I am using replaced the original (same pump) 15 or 20 years ago, so I figure pretty darn good, but have a back-up. This is the third version of the same model we have used for distributing water from rain barrels to sprinklers. The first one stopped working after 10 years. The second one is still going but we decided that one for the front and one for the back was less work than moving it each time. The rubber base attachment for the float broke after a year or two in the previous two models, but we adapted by simply keeping the switch ON and watching it (or sitting and reading nearby). I am most impressed by the water seals' integrity; we have not yet short-circuited anything.

The automatic float switch works perfectly. The pump is small enough to fit in my small sump. In the recent past I have had repeated problems with the Little Giant pump with diaphragm switch. I am so pleased a bought a second one to keep on hand.

At a repair job, there was an old bucket pump beyond its useful life. I replaced it with the Little Giant bucket pump. It works very well and strongly.
