Distinctive gold Bits, Bearings and Pivot Pin signify the longest lasting, fastest cutting, easiest adjusting solution for cutting holes in sheet metal. Malco Hole Cutters quickly install into the chuck of any corded or cordless drill as small as 1/4" (6.4 mm). Lightweight aluminum frames make these accessories extremely portable for a variety of hole cutting applications in sheet metal including 20-gauge (1.02 mm) galvanized steel. A compact model HC1 Hole Cutter is adjustable for making 2 to 12" (51 to 305 mm) diameter holes. The larger HC2 model cuts 2 to 20" (51 to 508 mm) holes. A combination English/Metric diameter gauge is included on the adjustable pivot slide for both models and both models use the same mill-type Cutter Bit and replacement parts.

I used this to cut two 10" holes. First was on the duct box and the second was in a piece of sheet metal. Getting the hole size correct was a small learning curve. Very fast cut and when done properly was a very clean hole.

This cutter works as advertised, watch demo on you tube for proper operation if your struggling.
Thicker gauge material will require you to slow down a bit.

HolyCow. I now own a hole maker.
I only cut one 6 inch diameter hole so far. Have six more holes to cut into 22 gage galvanized ductwork. I thought it would work better for the price I paid.

Easy breezy cutting collars fast into central air supply tru
I attach this product to my drill...set size hole i need to cut into the sheet metal... (up to 12 inches) and zip them out. This item saves me alot of time and labor intensive snipping. Awesome!
