The housing is metal, compared to the plastic housing motor i took out. Seems its built strong than the original! All the holes lined up perfect!!

I would probably not buy this product again
The fan works but what's disappointing about it is that it's EXTREMELY LOUD!!! I used it to replace a subzero condenser fan but now every time it goes on it sounds like you turned on a vacuum cleaner. I will be replacing it with the OEM fan but it was a cheap temporary emergency replacement.
