The R7284 lets you keep track of system quality by accessing memory data that gives a clear picture of day-to-day performance. The error history capability defines when and how the controller encountered problems, and helps maintain knowledge when there is more than one technician involved in servicing the unit. There is also a baseline feature that uses a
cycle-trend reading to determine if something is out of the norm, allowing troubleshooting during service check-ups before a no heat call occurs.
Honeywell oil primary controls can fully integrate into any EnviraCOM communications system, which allows for remote monitoring with a simple 3-wire connection.
Honeywell has designed this unit with several unique capabilities and features like recessed wiring pocket to allow more space in tight junction box installations. It's engineered to be unmatched in its compatibility, including working seamlessly with power venters without integral timers.

Working perfectly so far
This replaced the original controller I had on my furnace. It was at least two models newer than the one I had, and as a result some of the wires needed to be lengthened to reach the "T" screws. Other than that, I hooked up all the wires underneath, hit the power switch on the furnace, and everything fired up right away.

THIS PRODUCT WOULD NOT WORK FOR MY FURNACE
THIS UNIT WOULD NOT WORK ON MY FURNACE IT WAS MISSING THE CONNECTION FOR THE LIMIT WIRE.
.I INSTALLED IT, GOT FURNACE TO RUN BUT IT WOULD NOT STOP BECAUSE OF LACK OF LIMIT. CONTINUED TO RUN AND BUILD UP PRESSURE UNTIL SAFETY VALVE BLEW OFF CAUSING LIVE STEAM AND HOT WATER TO POUR INTO BASEMENT. I SHUT UNIT DOWN WITH EMERGENCY SHUT OFF SWITCH. CONTACTED COMPANY FOR RETURN AUTHORIZATION WHICH THEY PROVIDED. SENT UNIT BACK BUT I HAD TO PAY $10 RETURN SHIPPING.ALTHOUGH I AM CERTIFIED BY THE NYC FIRE DEPT. FOR BOILER A THE LACK OF CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS AND WIRING DIAGRAMS IS ANOTHER PROBLEM

Very easy to install in my application
My unit was obsolete and this was the recommended replacement. It arrived before it was scheduled to arrive, which was the first pleasant result. The instruction sheet was a little obscure but I determined it would be a wire for wire replacement, and so it was. Turned the power back on and the furnace immediately fired up (whew!). It has been operating trouble-free since installation. If this unit was the replacement for any other furnace, I would not hesitate to order and install.

Great Replacement Part
I used this part to replace a Beckett 7184B controller. This part adds the advantage of having a built in check for the cad cell. The price Supply House offers it at is extremely fair. I compared it to price supplied by a well know HVAC supplier that has several outlets here on Long Island where I live. Their price was astronomical, almost twice of that asked for by Supply House. I ordered it from Supply House over the internet and it came the next day. The only thing I wish is that Supply House had an outlet that stocked parts locally.

I would buy this product again from Supply House
My oil furnace control went out when temps were getting to -15 below. No one in the area had a part and was quoted 10-15 days for delivery. I ordered from Supply House and received it in 2 days! Prevented a frozen house!
