Description

The Taco 003 is designed for circulating hot or chilled fresh water in open or closed loop,
lower flow applications. Flow characteristics are ideal for Domestic HotWater Recirculation,
Heat Recovery units,Water Source Heat Pumps, and PotableWater systems. The unique, replaceable cartridge contains all of the moving parts and allows for easy service instead of replacing the
entire circulator. The compact, low power consumption design is ideal for high efficiency jobs.

Great circulator
I only wish that Taco would sell a replacement cartridge and stator unit and not the bronze body for replacement. These units are expensive due to the cast bronze housing. When the unit fails sometimes replacing the cartridge works, sometimes you have to replace the cartridge and the winding unit. The bronze volute seldom wears out so you just toss the new one into the recycle bin...

It does the job perfectly; saves us time
We had a 003-B4 Circulating pump installed in our new home in 2004. Prior to this installation we had long waits up to a minute for warm to hot water from our indoor faucets and shower heads. Now, we have almost instant hot water. No more waiting!
The convenience plus water savings far offset any additional electricity to operate the pump. Supplyhouse provided excellent customer service.
