Hi Gene! The 10' sensor is what comes standard with the 519, but the 072 (20') or 073 (40') sensor can be purchased if you need the longer lengths.
Away mode is only available when using a Tekmar zone control panel, allowing you to set the temperatures for each zone and turning the whole system to Away at the panel.
The floor temp range is 40 to 122°F, but please consult the installation manual for the suggested max temperatures based on the type of installation.
For assistance with wiring please refer to page 10 of the installation manual: http://s3.supplyhouse.com/product_files/Tekmar%20-%20519%20-%20Install%20Instructions.pdf Pages 5-6 would also detail the location of the slab sensor depending on the thickness of the laminate flooring.
There is the TekmarNet Internet Gateway, sku 485 that would enable TekmarNet thermostats to be accessed remotely. Only that product line of thermostats would be compatible with this Internet Gateway.
This thermostat is a two wire install and would be compatible with a floor sensor.
Please refer to page 5 for retrofit applications for the slab sensor install: http://s3.supplyhouse.com/product_files/Tekmar%20-%20519%20-%20Install%20Instructions.pdf
Yes, as per the unit brochure the slab sensor allows for temperature control with floor minimum & maximum settings.
With out knowing the thermostats you are replacing I can;t say whether or not they will be a direct replacement, if you are not using the floor sensor it will work no differently than a typical wall thermostat.
