Overpriced cardboard
It's literally just cardboard with a thin foil backing. I used it for a return so it will work. The box it was shipped in would've worked just as well.

Easy to use
Had some work done in my basement and they had to tear out my cold air return. The quote I got from the heating contractor I normally use was extremely high I thought a friend recommended the product and Supply House. He had done his a few years ago. Installation was a breeze and went very quickly. I saved a lot of $$

Q: Is the 24" width including the tabs that bend in? I'll be recessing them inside an open truss system so I need to know the width with the tabs folded in. I imagine the tabs are around 1/2" on each side?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouseHi Tony! 24" is the total width of the material including the pre-scored tabs. Each tab is roughly 3/4", so with each tab bent inward, the width of the sheet is approximately 22-1/2".

Q: How thick is the Thermopan 24" x 47.5" Ultra Fire Resistant Duct Panning Sheet? I'm looking to install it on inside panels of my furnace cabinet (no exposed flame). My previous furnace had foil-faced fiberglass insulation (not boards) that were 3/4" thick. My new one does not and seems loader, so figured I could add these in an effort to quiet it down a touch.
