Great idea for a temporary solution
I'm just entering the hvac field. I don't have the space, money, or customers yet to justify investing in 200+ caps. Having 8 variable caps in addition to 12 common caps allows me to solve most problems. I can always come back and replace them with the exact part. This give me the opportunity to speak with a new customer and ask them if they've thought about upgrading their system.
