30 Port MANABLOC without Port Adapters (12 Hot, 18 Cold)

Second one, first one leaked and wouldn't hold during a pressure test. Bad valve body or valve stem. The replacement also leaked at two valves, took them apart and rotated the O-rings. One valve is holding but another is still bleeding during pressure tests. We're trying to move into the house right now, this has been a bad 5 week experience trying to get this thing right. I wouldn't give this thing one star but the review requires at least one to be submitted.

Great product, great customer service.

The 30 port MANABLOC replaced my 12 year old MANABLOC which developed a leak at the bottom. After searching the internet I felt that SUPPLY HOUSE would be the best to work with. I was advised that a special wrench that is no longer available is the best way to remove the port adapters. I could not find the wrench but did find thar a 1 5/16 in crowfoot flange nut wrench purchased from Epstein hardware in kansas did the job. Its a long process but its worth the work.

It's a great product in theory, but not well thought out, or if it was, shame on them. The input port threads are essentially threaded plastic nipples and the connector adapters have Brass female caps that cut into the plastic nipples and cross-thread very easily. No amount of tape or doctoring the threads stopped the heavy leak. The damaged nipple cannot be removed,nor can the top section of the MANABLOCK be replaced. The only fix is to replace the whole MANABLOCK unit. Nearly $300 for a crossed thread. Would go another route if the system wasn't already set up. It would take much reconfiguring. I'm too old for that.

This manifold got the entire house done and everything can be individually shut down any pipe in the house and I got it with room to spare to account for any changes that I might make in the future. Looks great, works great! The support people at Viega were tremendous as well. Got the kit and everything came with it.
