1-1/4" IPS Purge & Fill Full Port Forged Brass Ball Valve

The valve was exactly what we needed.

These combination valves should be used on all systems! This valve allows the isolation of one fill/purge port from the other, allowing a true system purge to be acheived. The valve directional arrows are on the coated handles so you know how the water is flowing. It was so nice to just hook up a few hoses and completely purge the system with NO MESS! You can also use the threaded hose bib ends to attach a pressure guage, which is a plus. The valve body itself is well machined and appears to be of high quality, with PTFE seals and stainless ball valves. I've bought about 10 different Webstone combo valves and the IPS/threaded ones had very clean machined threads and the insides of the sweated joints was clean and machined smooth. Both iron & copper threaded very well into the IPS fittings and I had no leaks (of course I used several wraps of teflon tape and then some pipe dope on top on all the male fittings)

I used this 1-1/4" valve as purge, fill, and isolation on my 30psi boiler. I wasn't sure if Webstone was a cheap Chinese brand as the price was on the cheap side for a valve... actually (3)valves of this type. I checked with the manufacturer and they do have Teflon seats and stainless steel balls. Upon receiving it I could not believe the high quality of the machined threads and the way it fits up when I installed it. I was looking at valves of much higher price like Appolo and Watts and they are good valves but as far as materials and fit and finish theses Webstone valves can not be outdone at any price. I liked this valve so much I ordered 12 more for 6 supplys and 6 returns on my 6 zone FHW system. Try one you will not be disappointed.
