These work great
I had to add a review after seeing the other review. I have installed quite a few of these. Aparently the other person who reviewed these didn't know how to install it, and had lousy "contractors" working on it. They stated they had a "burner" guy and an "electrician" work on it??? This is a boiler man's domain. Only problem I have ever had was a tank sensor that went bad and Weil McLaine sent me one overnight.

Do not buy no support from Supply house or Weil Mclain
Purchased this tank in 2020. Four years later the tank develops a leak, need a new tank. The tank has a 12 year warranty. I called supply house they tell me call Weil McLain. So basically not their problem. I call Weil McLain they do not want to deal with the home owner. They want to speak to the installer who has since retired and was a Lic plumber. My current plumbing company calls Weil McLain waited two weeks for warranty claim and nothing. Meanwhile my tank is still leaking. Do not buy this tank as other reviews have shown. The tank will start leaking again in a short time. I had to buy another tank. Think twice when buying a major item from Supply house and Weil Mclain. I got no help from both

expensive and doesn't last
My home was built in 2006. I bought it in 2013. I had to replace the Weil-Mclain indirect water heater in 2015. It is now 2025 and the tank has been leaking for months. My plumber says that it needs to be replaced. The tank is warrantied for 12 years. However, Weil-Mclain says that the anode rod has deteriorated enough that they will not honor the warranty. The first tank lasted nine years. The second tank lasted 9.5 years. Do NOT buy.

Weil mclain has been good about honoring the warrenty h
First the temp controller failed after 2 months of operation
Then the tank started to leak after 11 months
Both times weil mclain has sent new parts with out problems
Now i have to do the install a second time 😕

Leaked after 7 years
I wouldn't recommend this tank. It leaked and i sent the photos to Weil-McLain and they said they wouldn't warranty it. I will never use this product again.

I connected the tank to my hydronic solar array, and use this storage tank to pre-heat the cold water feed to my 50-gal electric water heater. Easy to install and it is working great.

Great Price, Excellent Customer Service!
Supply House had the best price for the Indirect water heater. Before buying I called and asked if the connections for the new one would be the same as my old one. The rep. said it should be, but wasn't too sure. After buying, delivery was quick, just a few days. My technician took two hours to hook it up and get it going!
I didn't have to install any new pipes. Works great!
