A semi rigid and lightweight non-insulated air duct, Triple Lock (T/L) is manufactured by using a dead soft aluminum strip which is spirally wound and mechanically joined together forming an air tight and leakproof triple lock seam. A self supporting and corrosive resistant ULC-S110 and UL181 Class 1 product is produced which provides excellent strength and flexibility, adaptable to any low to high pressure heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.

Great Flex Duct
Used this for a remote blower install in a tight attic for a kitchen vent hood. Hard piping wasn't a option going to the blower assembly and this worked great. Would say this is a higher quality flex duct and did not have any issues with install. Vent hood works great and would say the reduction in CFM had to have been minimal with this.

Great, quality product for venting purposes
We are using the aluminum flex duct for area of limited space for a residential remote blower vent hood rated at 1200cfm. It is an island mount, 36" hood for a gas range top. we used several pieces to make connections to the remote blower. The product was excellent for our purposes, i.e. flexible, yet rigid. It performed perfectly at 1200cfm rating. I would recommend the product for areas where galvanized pipe is not an option. Use the stainless clamps and aluminum tape, and you'll be fine.

Tough and durable
I bought this duct for the top vents on a manufactured fireplace cabinet. What I liked was that as I expanded it and formed it, it held its shape and did not split or tear. It cut well with shears. The only difficulty I had was getting the ends to fit over the collars of the cabinet and grille fittings, but I eventually got it to fit.
