Choose from several replacement cartridges for a custom filter application (Note: Only 1 cartridge is included, additional replacement cartridge must be purchased separately.)

WORST DESIGN OUT THERE
THIS WILL EVENTUALLY LEAK 100% OF THE TIME IF YOU USE THEIR BUILT IN SHUT OFF VALVE THAT'S ON TOP OF THE UNIT…… IF YOU PUT BALL VALVES BEFORE AND AFTER IT AND NEVER USE IT, IT WILL STILL EVENTUALLY LEAK IT WILL JUST TAKE A LITTLE BIT LONGER. TRUST ME IF YOU WANT TO AVOID A HEADACHE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!! 👎👎👎🏻👎🏻👎🏼👎🏼👎🏽👎🏽👎🏾👎🏾👎🏿👎🏿

Preferable to the AP101T
I've had the model AP101T with integral shutoff body for years, but the shutoff and venting relies on a few O-rings including some in a sliding situation rather than compression. Those rings are not very resilient and barely make contact with the mating surface; the slightest warping of the valve head throws them out of contact and allows a leak. Like many other people have experienced, the vent started leaking after a few years, and I had to fake seal it off until even that wouldn't work. Since I have a couple of ball valves in the piping, I don't need that integral shutoff. I'm happy to have the new AP11T with only one moving part, the spring-loaded vent which seems to have one O-ring in compression.

Great Filter
Great filter overall. A little surprised that the mounting bracket was not included like the GE filters. You must order bracket kit 5551701 separately. Other than that very satisfied.

Aqua-Pure water filter
Used this to filter a cold water feed to a tankless hot water heater. Specifically like that this filter has an o-ring that seals in the radial direction instead of the axial direction. Don't have to worry about over or under tightening the body and tearing the o-ring.
