- Safety features include exhaust & water temperature safety control, overheat cut-off fuse and air-fuel ratio (AFR) sensor
- 15-year limited warranty on heat exchanger in residential applications
- The 140H Series offers high efficiency Ultra-Low NOx condensing technology allowing for the use of 3" PVC venting and has 0" clearance to combustibles. Indoor models are certified up to 10,100 ft. altitude. Provides a variety of installation options: indoor, outdoor and direct vent. Complies with Ultra-Low NOx regulations and meets the energy efficiency requirements of ASHRAE 90.1b-1992. The ATI-140H-N tankless water heater uses up to 120,000 BTUs of natural gas to deliver a max flow rate of 6.6 GPM. It utilizes condensing technology to achieve a Uniform Energy Factor of 0.90. this model meets Ultra-Low NOx emission requirements, and comes with a 15-year limited warranty. A. O. Smith's ProLine water heaters are residential products built to commercial-grade standards and are only available for purchase through professional wholesalers and contractors.

Stay away from this water heater.
Work for 1 or 2 days ok, after that is just trouble after trouble. Not hot water. Installation and appearance is great but lots of trouble. If product need other parts to work correctly, should be included with the product or recommended.

Installed in a small two bedroom condo and it works great. It's one of the few tankless systems with a 1/2" gas hookup. Would purchase again. This product will work great when installed in the proper setting.

If you want instant hot water don't go with this unit.
I would give it a higher rating but the install manual says that you need: "Pressure Relief Value" not included. These valves run about $75 to $120. That's like buying and car without tires and rims! Because of this, the unit should have been at least $100 cheaper. I'm using the unit for my 3 story Condo. The unit is in the garage and it takes at least 20 seconds for the water to become hot on the 2nd for and about 30 seconds on the 3rd floor. The jury is still out if my Gas or Electric bill will be less though. I had the unit less than a month.
