Plenty of Expansion for Solar Hot Water
I used this expansion tank to replace one that was smaller. My solar hot water-SHW system required more expansion for those hot summer days when the sun beats down on the roof and adds a tremendous amount of heat to the system.

Time will tell.
I bought 3 of these 3 years ago. One has already failed and they only have a 1 year warranty. It is being used on a heating system with proper chemical treatment as the manufacturer recommends.

No more over pressure issues
Several times every heating season the 30lb relief would burb. This started after a local plumber replaced the rafter mounted non-bladder expansion tank with an undersized bladder tank perched on a cinder block. I'm guessing that plumber didn't factor in the house has cast iron radiators on both floors. Pressure now holds at a steady 12psi

Excellent Packaging
Standard floor mount expansion tank. My only complaint is the 1" fitting.....why? 1/2" certainly does the trick on an expansion tank, but this is a minor complaint. I was nervous ordering this from Supplyhouse as it is a large item and I was concerned about damage in transit. It came so well packaged that while transferring it to the job site in the supplied packaging, it took a ride off my trailer onto the highway at 70+MPH. Most of the bubble wral wasn't even touched let alone the manufacturer's packaging. It looked perfect with no damage at all.
