Too small.
We have a Noritz NRCR111 which was exceeding 140psi pressure when using recirculator. We installed ST-1 on hot recirculating line, as Noritz recommended, which didn't help; we then installed ST-5 which solved the problem! I'm unclear when ST-1 would help with thermal expansion. Go big!
