The tanks should be checked every year. You can charge them but if the diaphragm is bad, the whole tank must be replaced.
The whole unit will have to be replaced. The only way it will lose pressure is getting a pin hole leak - cause by abrasive in the water, etc.
The diaphram is not replaceable and the tank would have to be replaced.

The manufacturer recommends at least a 44 gallon tank (WX-250).
You will need four WX-350 pressure tanks if the pressure switch is 40 to 60.
