Q: How do I change the battery when the battery warning sign comes on?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffTo change the batteries on this thermostat, remove the thermostat body by gently pulling it from the base. Then remove the old batteries and replace them with new batteries. Make sure to correctly position the (+) and (-) symbols. Gently push the thermostat body back onto the base.

Q: my thermostat will not stay on 76 degrees which i prefer...it falls to below 70.............do i need a new thermostat?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYou can first try resetting the thermostat. To reset the thermostat, use a small object such as a tooth pick or paper clip and gently press the button located inside the small hole on the front of the thermostat housing labeled “reset”. Q: I have a house (off the electrical grid) that has a propane heater when I am not there. It currently has a milivolt thermostat that is not very accurate and is hard to control heat range. Do I read the specs right on the Brae Burn thermostat (SK 1020NC) - it can operate just on batteries ??
