Specially designed PTFE (same material composition as Teflon) seats provide corrosion resistance and watertight seal while assuring ease of use, even after long periods of time.
Precision - Machined Brass Ball
Specially engineered brass ball mated with PTFE seats resists corrosion, provides long life and ensures ease of operation.
Chrome Plated Brass Body
Extruded brass body for strength and durability with chrome finish for corrosion resistance and fine appearance.
Blow-out Proof, Plated Stem
Assembled from the inside with double o-rings to ensure safe, reliable performance. Resists corrosion and provides easy, on-off operation even after long periods of time.
Chrome Plated, Metal Handle
Durable, zinc die cast handle provides sleek appearance and resists corrosion. Screw attachment provides for easy removal if necessary.

Worked just fine.
original line is 3/8 tubing with male IP thread adapter. Didn't feel like sweating on adapter 3/8 to 1/2 copper so went with this, since box stores don't carry this size threaded fitting.

1/4 Turn Angle Stop Valve
I always use these Brasscraft 1/4 turn stop valves. I haven't had any issues with them. I" use a little plumbers grease, or Teflon pipe dope, around the ferrule and compression nut threads to prevent binding.

Loving the quarter turn cutoff!
Had the traditional multi-turn, oblong handle shutoffs. They mostly shut off the water when used.
These work better, all metal, and easy enough to install.
