The Cash Acme Tank Booster combines a Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV), a Flexible Connector and a Water Heater Tee in one package, and can effectively double a household’s hot water heater capacity while delivering hot water at safe temperatures in residential/commercial applications. Available in regular and “PRO” models, both versions of the TMV are factory set at 120°F (49°C), but may be easily adjusted, and can be used with SharkBite Flexible Water Heater Connectors and Ball Valves for easy installation in systems using copper, CPVC or PEX tubing - no need for additional transition fittings.

Works great!
This product works great! We can now run the washer, dishwasher, and take a couple of showers without running out of hot water. We have a 50 gal natural gas water heater and it is turned up to about 150 degrees F. I did not have to adjust the settings on the valve. Make it easy on yourself and get the shark bite hoses, I got one with a valve (entering) and one without (exit). Saves a lot over buying a new water heater, especially over a tankless.

Over one year of use
I installed this the same day with a new 40 gallon Power Vent. We were able to take 3 showers back to back without losing any water temperature. Within the last month we noticed that we were experiencing lags in hot water delivery. Verified that there were no restrictions in the hot water supply to the Tank Booster. Adjusted booster and now the temperature is no longer regulated. Also noticed that there is a bit of leakage on the fittings, not on the seals. I have several SharkBite fittings in our home and really like them. I'm disappointed that this product is having issues so soon and at all, especially due to the issue of scalding.

Skeptical at first (of it's purpose), It's genius
We have a rather large house, and traditional electric tank water heaters are limited to 50 gallons, so for larger families with guests it's easy to run out of hot water. This device not only doubles as keeping temperatures above that where bacteria can breed, it also reduces the volume of hot water required for a nice warm shower. So effectively it turns a 3-4 person Water Heater into a 6-8 person Water Heater!

Great booster
Installed this booster on a smaller electric tank, had to work out having this in such a small space under a counter but worked perfectly. Easy to install and have done a few in the past. Nice having the option to install vertical or horizontal. Easy to read temp gauge makes for easy adjustments. Will get again.

AWESOME
Balancing the boiler to the storage tank has never worked… until now! Love that it lets us keep the storage tank water hotter without burning little kid hands. A year in and everything is still perfect.

Works great for about 8 months
This is the second valve that I have ordered. The first one lasted less than a year and we started to notice our water wasn't as hot as it usually was and the pressure had dropped. After a process of elimination, it was the mixing valve restricting hot water flow out of the water heater. The inlet screen has minor debris but nothing that would restrict the flow down to what it was. I replaced that first one in August of 2020 and ended up removing the second one on June 6. We had been gradually experiencing the same symptoms up until there was no water pressure or heat to it once again. I will be avoiding this product and just plumbing the water heater in the old fashioned way sadly.

Very easy to install came with almost every thing I needed to install. Kit would normally cover everything you need but I also was piggy backing 2 water heaters so piping had a bit of a larger scope.

Have a 50 gallon tank and would run out of hot water lots of time with 4 of us . With two children I didn't want to crank the temp up past 120 on the tank because of burn risk.
This device lets me set the temp on the water heater to 140 so that I have hotter water available but it mixes in just enough cold water to deliver 120 degree water to my hot water outlets. Now we are not running out of hot water.
Much cheaper that buying a second tank and circulation pump.

Doubling up with electric AutoBooster
I have a vacation rental that I'm trying to get all the hot water out of the water heater as possible. I have the water heater cranked up all the way with the Tank Booster Pro on the outlet and Electric AutoBooster after that. Setting my temperatures accordingly. Crossing my fingers things will work well together
