I brought this for a shut off valve for fridge ice maker to mount behind fridge for quicker access, one I already have is above my water heater which is hard to get to in a hurry. I looked all over for a valve that was made like this, and lead free, covers everything I wanted. Customer service was awesome to deal with, I texted a question I had about another item and was answered right back!

Ice maker / water line shutoff
Put this under my refrigerator where the water supply line connects to the refrigerator (in addition to the shutoff at the wall behind the refrigerator). Quick, easy quarter-turn to shut off the water. Easier to shut off the water to the fridge than pulling it away from the wall.
Simple to connect between the two 1/4-inch female compression connectors.
