13 QuestionsQ: I'm looking for a coupling that fits inside the "C" end of a tee fitting or cap. I have bought such couplings locally, but don't see on any your site. If you have one, what is it called? To be clear, the OD of the wider end of the coupling would fit exactly inside the ID of the tee and/or cap. This is not a plumbing application, but rather a (fairly large-scale) craft application in which the coupling would be hidden between and inside of the end of a 1" tee and a 1" cap which would then appear to butt up against each other smoothly. I could just use a piece of 1" tube for this purpose, but like the finished form of a fitting as opposed something I hack out of a length of tube. Thanks!

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffYou need a copper fitting adapter (labeled 'FTG'). These fit inside of copper fittings as copper pipe does. Part WP02-16-12, for example, fits into a 1" fitting on one side and over 3/4" pipe on the other.
If such a fitting exists, I have not seen it. Why not just use a length of cleanly cut 1" pipe? It is going to be invisible in your application anyway.

If you are putting a cap on the end, pex supply has fitting end caps. Forget the couplings and install a fitting End cap on the tee. walter
It is called a 1” x ¾” Fttg x C Coupling. Fitting means that the 1” is the same OD as the pipe.
Q: Hi, can you tell me does the pipe slide inside the coupling or the coupling inside the pipe? Thanks

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis coupling slides over copper pipe on each side.
The "C x C" stands for cupped by cupped meaning that each pipe is inserted into the coupling and sweated into place.
Q: i have a type k 2 inch pipe (o.d. 2.125) (wall thickness .083) that i need to take down to 3/4 pipe and then run a 90, will this fitting work for the reducing stage that i need?
