Grundfos does not offer such a guide (that we know of, anyway). You may want to use a similar guide that Taco offers at the link below. The methods of determining flow rate and head pressure would be the same, but you'd need to select the circulator based on Grundfos pump curves, which are available in the Grundfos product literature. http://s3.pexsupply.com/manuals/1289252668477/41390_PROD_FILE.pdf
The performance is going to be different, it will be half the performance. The UP26-96F has a GPM of 0-28 and the UP15-42F has a GPM of 0-17. The pump will fit in the hole but it will pump a less amount of water moving slower then the UP26-96F. This pump does come with the flange gaskets but not the flanges.
No, this is a single-speed circulator pump.
Yes, this is the current part number for the 59896165 circulator.
yes it is because i had the 5989165 and got this pump and they are the same
You will want to check flow with a flow meter.
The flow rate is based on head pressure of the system. The higher the head pressure the less flow the pump will provide.
Yes, This pump can replace the Taco 007-F5.
You will want to check all your electrical terminals with a volt meter.
This pump is rated at .74 amps.
The manufacturer recommends the UPS15-58 SuperBrute (part 59896341).
