With a semi-open impeller and 0.4" solids handling capacity, it's ideal for sump pits, site drainage, and light wastewater applications. This 1/2 HP pump features a liquid-cooled, canned rotor motor with automatic thermal protection and restart, ensuring reliable operation in demanding conditions. It includes a 10 ft power cord, 1.5" NPT discharge, and is built for manual operation (no float switch). Not impressed
Received the pump and went to use it right away. Plugged it into the electric outlet and the pump did not work. No hum, no vibration no nothing. The only reason had to buy a new pump is because the power cord on the pump has shorted out and replacement cords are on backorder.

Most reliable sump pump I've encountered
This pump replaces a Grundfos 1/2 HP KP model I used for a decade before it finally failed. If it's as good as the last one, I'll be more than satisfied. BTW, PEX had the lowest retail price I could find plus free shipping.
