be careful on compatibility
A decent therm, but overengineered for what it is. Will not work on certain 24 volt burner circuits.This is a powerstealing unit and when installed in series with other controls it may mysteriously fail prematurely. Works fine when connected to TT of a dedicated relay. When going nonprogrammable, go with swingarm mechanical type on 24 volt steam for example.

Thermostats packed in same box as zone valves.
Thermostats were damaged by zone valves bouncing around in box.
Recommend separate box for thermostats.

thermostats
Replacing the thermostats in our church. Many of those old ones are over 50 years old. Have replaced these with Honeywell t87k. They work great and easy to install.

Q: i have a floor furnace with an original 1951 honeywell mercury thermastat.yes it still works! is this model going to be the replacement i need?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffAccording to the manufacturer, the answer depends on what type of system you are going to wire the new T87 to. The new T87 requires 24VAC / 24 hours a day at the thermostat subbase.
