Excellent product,not for the novice.

This thermostat is terrific. I can't verify it, but it seems to keep the temperature within a couple of 0.1s of a degree. My old digital thermostat wouldn't turn on until the temperature was 1 degree above the set temp and wouldn't turn off until it was 1 degree below the set temp. This thermostat needs to be programmed by someone who knows the specifications of your system.

TH6110D Looks Good but with

Our Honeywell TH6110 was replaced by the dealer after we reported questionable accuracy of the temp sensor and cycle rate. Supply House was very cooperative and handled the replacement at no charge. However, the replacement TH6110 operated the same. The unit was easy to install, set-up and program. The clock sequences as designed, but could not achieve and maintain the room set point temp. The heat cycle rate caused longer off times. During the cold days we had to raise the set point 2 degrees in order to hold room temp. The temp indicator always indicates the same as set point which seems unusual; it does not anticipate or sense a need for heating or adjust for lower temp as room conditions change. We called Honeywell Customer Care and they advised to relocate to another room and check operating voltage from furnace; both steps were inconclusive and proved normal. Going forward, we will continue to observe performance of temp indicator both on heat and cooling cycles.

Only thermostat for 3 wire,series 20, power on/off hydronic

I bought this on a chance if would perform as the review headline says, and it does. Although you will not see it in product description, buried in the installation setup instructions is a flag you set for a variety of applications, one of which is the series 20 power on/off for my 5 Honeywell 1311-102 zone control valves. Programming the awake/leave for work/return/sleep was easy as long as you proceed slowly. I like the ability to also override the programming temporarily to up the temperature. Have purchased several more to have independent temps in each of the 5 areas. makes a nice "click" to go along with "heat on" or 'blank" when in use. Looking at wires in their slots, power wire is right most wire(R), power off is in middle(Y), and heat on is left (W).

I would definately buy again

This worked perfect when we added a third zone valve in for our downstairs for our newborn daughter. Works perfect, programming and set up was a breeze and our little one is nice and warm. The customer support was beyond amazing and we appreciate all that you did to help us out.

Quick shipping. The Thermostats were simple to operate. I would keep the recovery feature off unless you need the change to be at that temp at the time set.. Seems to me to be a waste of time. Otherwise great product

Easy to Install/Operate but Chilly

Honeywell TH6110 looks good and is easy to install and operate. Questionable accuracy of temperature sensor and heat anticipator. Adjusted heat cycle rate and intelligent recovery, but still cold due to longer off times. May have to re-install my old thermostat.

To begin, press and hold the "Up temperature button" and the FAN buttons simultaneously until the display changes. The display will show the "Function" number on the left and the "Setting" on the right. Press the "next" button until you reach function "14", it will display a setting of "0". Press the "Up temperature button" to change from "0" to "1", this will change the readout from fahreneit to celsius. Press "Done" to exit and save the setting.

Easy. Just go into programming by holding the center bottom button and the up arrow button at the same time. Then release the buttons. Now select the item to change by pressing next until you get to item #14. Then press the up arrow to change. 0 is for Fahrenheit and 1 is for Celsius. Press done...That's it.

Q: I have this model in my home. My home is 3 years old. Just recently I noticed it is not reading 2 of the 4 time change controls. Upon taking it's face off, we noticed the batteries have leaked some acid. Could this be affecting why my thermostat won't always work? And if so, does it sound like we just need to swap ours out for a new one?

The batteries may be the reason the thermostat does not recognize the time settings. It is suggested to reset the unit by reprogramming the settings. If this does not work a new unit would have to replace this one. The batteries in this unit must be Alkaline only (no Lithium batteries can be used).
