Good thermostat. Has many features and is touchscreen ready. However, as I have experienced with other Honeywell products, the T-Stats reads a little high and seems to run on the cool suge of things. Example, have set at 72 for cooling. During hottest part of the day keeps it ok. But in the evening even though the stat still says 72, a thermometer I have next to it reads 69-70. It seem to run even when it is not necessary. The stat is stuck on cycling a certain amount of times per hour, rather than just the swing setting. That is the only problem with most Honeywell thermostats. The CPH!!! Honeywell really needs to drop this and go to an adjustable swing setting.

I decided to set up the schedules and password before installing. Almost everything we do today is governed by some programmer sitting in a cubicle without a clue as to the end user's needs. What I wanted was a thermostat that was password protected, but you could change any setting if you enter the password. Well, not so here! If you set partial you can change the current setting without a password and override the schedule. If you set full then nothing can be changed unless you go to settings and unlock the entire system. You know, sometimes I want to change the temperature temporarily, but not have to go through a dozen screens to do it. How about change the current setting and THEN ask for the password to allow the change. Typical of software "engineers" today, Clueless! PS. I spent 30 years in software development and it was all about what the customer needed!
