Sticking flow switch
I have bought 2 of the FS5-1 flow switches for my house well water. I inject into my water because of the smell and iron. The first one worked well for a few years then started sticking on. I replaced it with the same kind of switch at over $300 and it developed the same problem. When water was turned on the switch would activate the injection pump but then would not turn the pump back off.
Way to much money for the results.

Saving me $ & bulb replacement
This flow sensor is working as advertised. Turning on the UV light when pump begins to send water down the pipe. .

I would buy this flow switch again
I use the flow switch on a pressure pump.the pump only runs when water is flowing it prevents damage to pressure pump

Sticky flapper
Many of the switches we put in have their flow flappers stick after water flows. we have installed quite a few of these and we con not set up the alarm feature we are contracted for due to the flapper sticking and causing false alarms.
