The Honeywell SV9501M2528 Smart Gas Valve provides easy field replacement of a wide range of SV9500, SV9501, SV9502, and SV9602 SmartValve System models. These models can be found in a wide range of heating appliances, including residential boilers and furnaces, commercial cooking appliances, central and rooftop furnaces, and more gas-fired heating appliances. These controls provide intermittent pilot gas ignition sequencing, pilot flame sensing, and both pilot and main gas control functions in a single control. They are directly compatible with the Q3450 or Q3480 Intermittent Pilot burners used with the original controls on the appliance.
NOTE : Natural Gas to LP Conversion Kit is included with this product.

I am glad I purchased this product
I am pleased with this product.I am sorry I did not purchase it sooner because the furnace gave me grief last winter.
It took me 1/2HR. to install and it works great.
Since I am not a proffesional, I am wondering if the manifold pressure is correct for my furnace.Although the fire seems to burn great.
One surprise I got, was that I had to pay sixty dollars to UPS for brokerage fee.

It works great but for how long?
This the second time in three years that I have purchased this valve to repair my home furnace. It arrived quickly and Supply House is great. Both times I replaced it the circuit board was bad, I hope that the third time is the charm. Granted the furnace itself is almost 20 years old but having a simple valve device that doesn't move or get jostled at all go bad twice within three years seems more attributable to poor design. I would buy it again it only because it's significantly cheaper than replacing the whole furnace.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe valve you are inquiring about, SV9501M2603, has been manufactured per the specifications of the OEM (original equipment manufacture) heating appliance. The requirements of the valve are such that a Honeywell Universal or TradeLine model is not available. Please contact the manufacturer of the heating appliance for a replacement valve.

Q: My pilot light will light and the furnace will work fine. When the house reaches tempature and the furnace shuts off, and then restarts when the tempature drops, the pilot light will not light and you can smell the propane from the exhaust. Would this be a malfunctioning smart gas valve?
