Better off upgrading motor and capacitor
this 40/3 capacitor is hard to find. I have a 20 year old A/C. 40(uF)(a/c compressor) 3(uF)(condensor fan motor). Supply house had it ready to go. easy install. a/c worked for 2 hours, then the fan motor died finally. Recommend... UPGRADE a/c condenser fan motor and you will use a new 5 (uF) capacitor (easily found locally available to public)
It was well worth the shot to get the a/c in house working.
