Q: Is this NPT thread vs the regular 1" PVC SCH 40 Male Adapter?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffHi Moosa. Both this and the 1" SCH 40 socket adapter (SKU: 436-010) have NPT threads on the male end. The difference is that the 436-010 is a socket connection on the PVC side (1" PVC pipe goes into it) whereas this one is a spigot connection (spigot is the same size as 1" PVC pipe) and will fit inside a 1" PVC socket fitting.

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse StaffNo, this item is a spigot not a socket. It is meant to connect into a 1" fittings only it is the same ID as 1" PVC Schedule 40 pipe
