Adapters splitting? Use these
I use these on Fleck softener stubs. Non reinforced adapters will split, leak, and cause nothing but headaches. Even tightening non reinforced by hand only have split.
Switched to these and it's a no brainer.

They worked.
Was connecting 3/4" PVC irrigation piping to 3/4" copper risers for water to eight individual backyard raised beds. Had used schedule 80 PVC couplings to make the connections, six out of eight connections split open at the threads. Found these couplings with the stainless band, installed, and had zero leaks. So far I'm very happy with the purchase.
