Works fine but failed after about five years.

My main water heater is so far away from the kitchen that it takes forever to get hot water and wastes a lot of water. I had this small electric water heater installed under my kitchen sink. I bought this one because it was efficient, i.e. uses less electricity than the competition. It works well for its intended purpose. However, I was disappointed that it only lasted five years before it started leaking and I had to replace it.

Phenomenal Product

I installed this as a booster heater for the Kitchen faucet, since the main HWH is over 50 feet away, as the piping was routed. Instead of waiting 30 seconds for hot water, and wasting all that water multiple times per day, we have instant hot water at the kitchen faucet. What a time and energy saver!

Phenomenal Product

We installed this as a Booster Heater, since the main Hot Water Heater in this house is over 50 ft away (as the piping routes), so you wait at least 20 to 30 seconds for hot water while wasting water EVERY time you turn on the Kitchen faucet! NOT any more! And, besides wasting water for no reason, water is NOT cheap. Turn on the Kitchen Faucet and poof - HOT water! As a Consulting Engineer, I recommend these all the time, but never needed one until this house!

Works Perfectly

Love this little hot water heater. My kitchen sink used to take 10+ minutes to get hot water, if at all. Everywhere else in the house would get it under 3 minutes. NOW, it is instant, within seconds the hot water is there. Makes doing dishes a breeze now and not wasting tons of water hoping to get hot water and it staying hot. I think I have an issue with a mixing valve in the wall that was causing my problem. I decided to try this before having my newly remodeled kitchen torn apart to solve the issue. Highly recommend.

Nice product

I have now installed 3 of these units under the sink the kitchen and 2 bathrooms since it was taking over 2 minutes to get hot water from the main water heater. They seem to be well built and fit/finish is also nice. They hold temperature consistently, as well. I did receive a defective unit, but the great customer service at Supply House got a replacement out to me overnight. Time will tell how they hold up but happy with them so far.

Quick delivery from SupplyHouse, as always

Installed a small sink in detached garden/equipment shed. Nice piece of equipment. Heats tank in about 10 minutes. A bit disappointed to find it doesn't have a drain. Also, I would not even think about using the supplied wall mount bracket - small, flimsy - it was even already bent in the package.

Great under sink instant hot water

I have used conventional mini tank heaters from other manufacturers. They have all leaked after a few years. Often the leaks were slow and not noticed until damage occurred to cabinetry. I am running two of these that are about 2 years old, no signs of leakage and by mounting them a few inches above to floor any leakage would be easy to spot. They are well designed and much better looking. I just changed the anodes on them. the original anodes were completely gone. If you want long life out of any water heater this needs to be done about every 2 years. I had trouble deciding which type of anode needed. I used the 304644 anode that easily screwed into the heat element plug. I don't think that was the original placement on these older units but it works and was easy to install.
