Q: I have an outdoor wood boiler that supplies hot water through a model 009 f-5 Taco. I've had this mounted in the verticle since 2007 (no problems) I'm now adding 3 Taco 007-zf5-9 pumps to 3 seperate zones. Mounted @ ceiling height within 10 inches of the base board units. I want to mount the 007's in the verticle because of space. What problems could result vs mounted in the horizontal? Thanks for any advice you may provide. Lyle

You should be able to mount these in any direction. The only issue that I am aware of is the electrical cover is designed to shed water in case of water leakage around pump. Should not affect pump operation.

Q: I purchased a taco 007-f5 circulator pump, but the one on the system is actually a 007-zf5, is there any way to hook up the thermostat to the f5? it only has 1 zone

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffYou would need to use a switching relay (part SR501-2 for one zone) in order to use a low-voltage thermostat with the 007-F5 circulator.
