2 Ton Carrier Perfect Swap
I was quoted $1250 to swap out my blower motor on my 16 year old 2 ton Carrier heat pump unit. So I started poking around for the part myself. Local HVAC supply houses wouldn't sell to me and I found this product on the Supply House website. They also sell the actual Carrier part but it was twice the price. To confirm I had the correct part, I did call the website help line and spoke to an incredibly helpful associate who confirmed that this was in fact the part I needed. The wiring isn't exactly the same as the Carrier part, but with some basic DIY ability you can figure it out. Also shaft and the motor are slightly larger that the original blower motor, so if you dont have a couple extra inches one both side of the blower housing inside the air handler like I did, I would buy the exact Carrier part. This after market part swapped out perfectly with my old blower and has been running perfect since I installed it 24 hours ago. If you are at all concerned about your ability to rewire the motor to your unit or the space inside your air handler, I would opt for the exact Carrier part - it will be worth the extra couple hundred bucks. This part arrived less than 24 hours after ordering it and was very nicely packaged.

I would buy this product again.
For my application this Motor was plug and play. One thing to note, the motor is a little bit deeper than the motor it replaced. Fortunately, there was enough room between the backside of the motor and The inside wall of the air handler. The price of this motor was roughly 50% of the OEM motor.
