38 QuestionsQ: Is it possible to set a White Rogers 1F80-361 thermostat on hold for a time period of over a month? IE: 58 degrees until I return from a Florida trip. If this is possible would you advise me as how to do it exactly. The old one that I am now using can be set on hold for a long period of time but my neighbor has a 1F80-361 which I like but I want to make sure that it suits my needs before I purchase one. It does not seem that it does. The manual does not list any sort of available security features that would allow locking out the unauthorized users.

Q: Every so often there is a high pitched chirping sound coming from the thermostat. What might be causing this?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffWe have not heard of the issue before. We would recommend checking your wiring to make sure there is not a short in the line.
Unfortunately the intermittent chirp is a known fault with this model of thermostat. The only real fix is to replace the thermostat.
could be a low battery indicator sound, try changing battery.
Q: My thermostat is stuck on HOLD and will not do anything I cannot get any heat, what do I do?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis thermostat is designed to alternate between time and temperature on its display screen.
It would seem a lot of HVAC tecnicians know something we don't; because I'm having the same issue. After installation, only the current temp was displayed in that field. after changing the time and settings, it now alternately displays time and temp. There *must* be a way to change this.
Q: Will this thermostat 1f80-361 work with a mobile home propane furnace. I bought a new double wide home and want to replace the cheap thermostat that came with it.
