Complicated question. I use the thermostat for hot water heating and ceiling ducted air conditioning. I set the fan switch to "auto". When the thermostat calls for heating, the fan does not turn on. When the thermostat calls for cooling, the fan comes on automatically. Dr. Wish

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffTo replace the batteries, install the batteries along the top of the base. The batteries must be installed with the positive (+) end to the left. Remove the snap-on cover to access the batteries in the holder at the top of the unit.
Q: Would you kindly e-mail for mail a manuel for this model F80-361. I have some questions and I think the manuel would be very helpful. When the contractor installed our unit he never gave us an instrutions manuel. Thank you

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThere is a switch that goes from cool to heat. Switch it to HEAT position, also you can increase the temperature by pressing the up arrow button.
Q: If the batteries are low...does it beep to let you know of the battery status?

Q: Does the 80 series programable White and Rodgers Thermostat work with both 24 volt and milivolt systems? For the direct wiring (no battery), do you need four 24 volt wires? Or what? I have a central a/c and a forced air gas furnace with white, red, green and yellow 24 volt wires going to my thermostat: Is that sufficient to direct wire it? thx, lee

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffNo, not all 80 series White Rodgers thermostats will work with a 24V and/or millivolt system. The 1F80-361 listed will work in a millivolt system. This is also a low voltage unit that you will have to connect to a 24v system.
