5" Display Universal 7-Day Programmable Thermostat, 2 Heat/2 Cool

The Emerson 80 Series Programmable Thermostat 1F85U-22PR does exactly what I need it to do. It has 4 daily program routines, and 5-1-1 or 7-day program capability. It also does NOT have a WiFi module, for which I have no need or desire to be constantly fixing dropped WiFi connections and doing the periodic firmware updates due to security issues. Once programmed, you are good to go - as they say, "set it and forget it". I like the extended "Hold Temperature" capability for vacation coverage. I bought two units to replace failing 10-year old professional models.

Good T-Stats. Works well. But the quality seems to have taken a back seat on these new 80's series when compared to the classic 80's series. The plastic on this stat seems very cheap compared to the classic style. Doesn't appear to be as sturdy and we'll put together. Also, as is typical with WR/EMERSION, the temp that it reads seems to be off some. Before the temp would read about a degree lower than other stats, now they read about a degree or to higher than other stats which if not adjusted could freeze you out even though your set temp is the same as before. But overall a good stat.
