The 63 series of submersible pumps is designed for use in residential or light commercial dewatering applications and can be used to transfer groundwater. Cast iron models include a powder coated epoxy finish to prevent corrosion and are designed to provide great heat dissipation from the motor, ensuring a long service life. As with every Zoeller pump, each one is 100% pressure-tested, submerged and run to ensure quality and reliability for years of trouble-free performance! This attention to detail is an inherent feature of every pump in this series, making it one of the most reliable in the industry.

Upgraded (replaced) a previous Voeller
It doesn't pump any faster than the previous model (M53) but I like that it has a cast iron base and a light up plug that lets you know its on. It is quieter when it runs than the previous model and I have no idea why that is (mutually exclusive to the quiet check value that I installed at the same time). Perhaps the last unit was operationally but slightly defective. It ran for approximately 7 years.

Time will tell
I had to get this pump to replace an identical one that failed after less than 3 months, so as far as the pump goes not so happy....HOWEVER Supplyhouse has been amazing both times I have contacted them for issues which is why I came back. Knowing that if this one fails very prematurely will at least be made less annoying by the great service that they provide.

High Quality Sump Pump
I've had good luck with Zoeller pumps. Typically last 10 years plus in my experience. Could have repaired the old pump pump since the failure was in the level switch, but that was tempting fate, since it was 10 years old. A bit more expensive, but worth the piece of mind.
