yes
These are regular potable water fittings Sent from my iPad
The fitting in the picture is for potable water service. DWV fittings (are hard to find) have a yellow strip on them, are more rounded for flow and have much shallower hubs for sweating to copper pipe.
The outside diameter of this 1-1/4" copper elbow (or any 1-1/4" copper fitting) should be just about 1.47".
The OD of copper fittings such as this is typically not specified or important. One and a quarter inch copper pipe has an O.D. of 1.375, thus the INNER diameter of the SOCKETs on this elbow would be 1.375" to allow the pipe to be inserted, and the OD of those would be twice the thickness of the material larger than that. I think a reasonable GUESSTIMATE would be that the 'hubs' on the ends of the elbow would have an O.D. of about 1-1/2" based on material thickness of 1/16"
The ends of the fitting are large enough to fit a 2" copper pipe into. The manufacturer states this diameter is around 2-1/8 inches.
They are made in Canada.
If the brand is Cello, then it is made in Canada.
Canada if the brand is “Cello”.
Cello is the Canadian branch of Argco, which is an American (all union) company. William M. Fields Sr.
The ID of part WP7-16, the 1" CxC 90° Elbow, measures slightly more than 1-1/8", so that it can fit over 1" nominal copper pipe for plumbing and heating.
The WP7-04 elbow is designed to fit around copper tubing with an inside diameter of 1/4".
