White unicorn
This fitting was curiously absent in the local market. I needed to join a brass based service entrance to a Pex based combination sprinkler/water system. A pair of these fittings solved the problem. There might be a cheaper/better way but I'm not a professional plumber.
A MAPP gas torch was used to install the fittings. It provided ample heat which resulted in a very nice solder joint even for one made by a complete novice.
