Great Product
I use this pump on a daily basis doing residential HVAC repairs and startups on new construction. It is by far the best pump I have ever used. Four years and not a glitch. Oil change on the fly is wonderful. 3 units side by side and pulled to 250 microns in less than 15 minutes. Mind you it was only the lineset and air handler. That is after 4 years of use. I do keep it clean and change oil religiously. The multiple fittings on top are very convenient.

Trips GFI breakers and outlets. Useless.
Trips some, but not all GFCI outlets and cords. Doesn't trip them all, but trips some brands of GFCI instantly at start. Makes the pump unusable at certain customer sites. If you don't get to pick the brand of GFCI (and you don't at a site) you don't get to decide whether you can use this pump or not. Not the best
Pump leaks oil in to vacuum hoses thru the suction port. I talked to Fieldpiece warranty dep about it and they said is a normal thing.
I don't really think a vacuum pump should be leaking oil back to the hoses thru the suction port whatsoever.

Best vacuum
Pulls a 250 and below micron on a long line set residential system. On RTUs same thing easy work. Takes about 5-10 minutes doing a proper vacuum removing the cores and using a big hose.

Fast and dependable
Over the years, I have had several Vacuum pumps, and this is the finest I have ever seen; it pulls down into microns quickly; the ability to change to oil on the fly is a game changer, saves time, and gets the job done.
