Grundfos vs Taco
I use this pump, replacing some taco pumps that were continuously failing and were noisy. This pump has done the job so far replacing 3 pumps. For this application Grundfos wins

Grundfos ups 26-150SF
Used to be a quality pump but no longer the case. We have seen jobs where at least a dozen of these pumps leak and the casing splits or the can warps and the pump seizes up. Taco "00" series pumps are much better

Purrrrrfect
I replaced a very noisy Gould circulating pump that was recommended by the manufacturer of my hydronic cooling system in my home. The Grundfos pump literally purred out of the box upon installation. My HVAC contractor could only whisper WOW when he heard how quiet this pump runs. Having the shipping insulator as an added bonus for my installation was a huge plus. I did have to run a separate 220 volt circuit for this pump, but the difference was well worth the effort.
