PHENOMENAL THERMOSTAT
This thermostat was phenomenal — naturally, it gets discontinued. It was nearly as reliable as the classic Honeywell T87 mercury-filled model.
Unfortunately, the current "replacement" is too wide for certain applications. It doesn't fit properly in tighter spaces, and customers are not happy with it. On top of that, it doesn't match the existing square wall footprint from prior installations, which means additional wall repair or modifications when replacing multiple units.
Please consider bringing this original model back and discontinuing the current replacement. The previous design simply worked better in real-world applications.

Great style and operator simplisity but setup not good
The T1 Pro has a nice display, large characters and a simple user interface. The problem from a technical standpoint is that if a customer (and many of them are savy), presses the up/down buttons to go into the setup mode, this Tstat automatically looses the previous settings and defaults to the factory settings requiring a service call to re-set it up. Like for instance, heatpump mode with O/B settings, not to mention pre-set limits. So for rental units, its not so good.

Completely satisfied
This replacement thermostat was identical to the original, easy to install, and is functioning just fine. It was sent very quickly, so that my HVAC system could start functioning again. The one it replaced had functioned for many years. It was blown out during a lightning strike during the hurricane Milton. .

Nice unit.
The old stat was only about 5 years old and quit working. The good thing was that they still make it!
It was nice to take the new one and just stick it on the existing base.

Q: I have a crown boiler oil heat hot water baseboard system heat only. Is the Honeywell TH1110D2009 thermostat compatible and will it work properly with this heater? If not do you have one that is compatible ?
