- One-Pipe Steam Thermostatic Radiator Valves - Allow automatic temperature control in one-pipe steam or hot water systems for free standing radiators, convectors and other heating units with standard capacity requirements. Provide comfort and energy savings.

- Continually monitors and adjusts room temperature for consistent comfort and relief from under-heating and overheating.
- Adjustable balancing cartridge design made from resilient material (EPDM), ensures tight shut-off on steam and hot water systems.
- Nickel plated brass casted body.
- Replaceable cartridge for easy service with service tool.
- Used with T100 set point and capillary actuators.
- No electrical connection required for non-electric actuators.
- Normally open without control mounted.

Misleading
This is just a valve, you have to purchase a thermostat to go onto this valve. There is nothing thermostatic about this piece alone.

I wouldn't buy this product again
They are connected to my one pipe steam radiators and I thought they would regulate the heat according to setting. But even at the lowest setting the radiators get fully hot so I'm still turning the floor valve on and off to regulate the heat which I was hoping to get away from. If anyone knows of a better control let me know.

Great for regulating stream
I was skeptical at first about purchasing these because of the price but they were worth every penny. We live in a hundred year old four square with steam heat and without any wall insulation. The steam would keep my house warm but once the temperatures got low all the steam would shoot to the second floor resulting in a easy 15 degree difference and high gas bills. I tried adjustable vents but just could not get the floors balanced, these thermostatic valves are easy to install and easy to keep the floors balanced, now the boiler runs maybe 1/3 of the time it used to. If you have a similar problem with your steam heat don't spend a year procastinating like I did, they are worth it.

Reliable product
Bought 2 items. Both items work perfectly. Use them with remote termostatic sensor at steam system. Saves me from overheating first floor. I'm very happy that this items exsist

Must have for one pipe steam Systems
Great product if you have a one pipe steam system and 2nd or more floors. It helps keep the heat balance on the upper floors. No more supper hot upper floors with this product. And it is easy to install.

Q: I have one (one pipe steam) radiator on the third floor/attic with a Gorton angled steam vent. If I use this valve can I then adjust the flow of steam to continue until it gets the room/radiator to the temp. needed to warm the room? Does the valve allow me to set the temp. for the room, say 72 degrees?
