Overview
By installing the control on an existing immersion well, HydroStat® can be used as a universal replacement for common Aquastat® models. (see "Note" at bottom for models this will replace) Whether it's a cold start or a tankless coil boiler, Hydrostat® will provide all the temperature functions of the control being replaced.
Or, install HydroStat® on a Hydrolevel Electro-Well (sold separately) to automatically activate the low water cut-off function. With HydroStat® you can add low water cut-off protection to new or existing installations without the added time and cost to install a separate control.

GREAT WAY TO AT LOW WATER CUTOFF!!!
Great: Digital, precise control with precise settings.
Not so Great: B-BB and C-CC are not "dry" contacts. Not a big deal as long as you know that. Both relays are tied to the L2 common buss.
GREAT WAY TO AT LOW WATER CUTOFF!!! Don't forget the special well to activate that feature.

Good replacement, hydrostat was not fair on 1st one!
For a control box this works well. My problem is that the one that came with boiler was defective from start and I didn't figure it out until the warranty was up by 3 months. Once
I installed a correct unit I realized how it was supposed to work from beginning. I told this to Hydrostat and they blew me off. So yes this product is good while the company is unjust.
They should take back my original unit and replace it with an apology for my troubles.

I don't know much about the product I purchased. My heater repair guy said it was what I needed. But I can tell you this, I ordered it on Thursday and received it on Friday for a much lower price then their competitors that I found online. Part was installed and everything works great.

The Hydrostat is an excellent product and from Supply house was at a great price. Order came quickly. Upon installation it proved to have a defect which can and does happen occasionally with all controls. No problem! A replacement was promptly sent out at no expense to me and it works beautifully. I love the purge feature which uses latent heat in the boiler before the burner fires, and the low water cutoff feature saves plubing and electrical work that a separate LWC requires. Supply house.com is a great vendor to work with!

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis product must be used with a well. It only provides temperature readings with standard well, but it can also provide low water cut-off when it's used with a Hydrolevel Electro-Well.
