The exclusive Malco C-RHEX Cleanable-Reversible Magnetic Hex Chuck Driver, has become an indispensable accessory for HVAC and service pros. The unique, patented C-RHEX design ensures that popular 5/16 and 3/8-inch hex drives are just a flip away. The double ended hex socket barrel is quickly reversible and securely locks on the driver shaft in either direction without disengaging from the drill or impact driver chuck. The fully accessible magnet tipped shaft is easily cleaned with the swipe of a cloth or glove to avoid build-up of metal shavings in the hex opening. Tested torque is equal to one-piece single size drivers.

Good but gets stuck often
The bit is wonderful, I love that it's easy to clean and doesn't allow the screw to dance around at all. My only gripe is that sometimes the bit gets stuck onto the screw.

I use this mounting control equipment to panel and super nice that holds screw and if gets full of cuttings just remove and clean. I have asked my company to purchase these.

Works awesome
I have said ever since the ¼ & ⁵/¹⁶ malco bit came out that they should produce one for 5/16 and ⅜ since as a commercial hvac tech that is mostly what I use. Thankfully this bit is just as handy as I thought it would be.
