- Immersion-type controllers that combine high limit protection with low limit and circulator control in forced hydronic heating systems.
- Provide multizone control by using a separate circulator and R845 Relay for each zone.
- Include diaphragm powerhead and Micro Switch+ assembly that respond to temperature changes in boiler water.
- Mount directly to boiler.
- Select models include large transformers and extra terminals for supplying power to low voltage zone valves.
- Require 24 Vac thermostat with heat anticipator set at 0.2 A (plus current draw of gas valve on L8124E).

Honeywell aquastat works awesome!
I purchased the Honeywell aquastat online, and was worried about the quality of the product since it was so much less than all supply houses in my area. The aquastat was packaged so it wouldn't be damaged during shipment. Took less than an hour to replace the old aquastat and it started right up. I am so happy to have saved so much and have the quality part for exact replacement.

Definitely lacks quality compared to original NOS units
These new units lack the quality parts that were manufactured years ago. It is like night and day when compared side to side. They are cheaper in price and there is a reason for that. I ended up sending the new unit back and paying the extra money for a NOS unit. Had problems with the first unit, no problems with the NOS unit, just wish I would have known up front that these new units although mfg by a Honeywell spin off were in no way the Honeywell quality that I had always experienced in the past. You definately are getting what you are paying for in this instance.

These new units lack the quality parts that were manufactured years ago. It is like night and day when compared side to side. They are cheaper in price and there is a reason for that. I ended up sending the new unit back and paying the extra money for a NOS unit. Had problems with the first unit, no problems with the NOS unit, just wish I would have known up front that these new units although mfg by a Honeywell spin off were in no way the Honeywell quality that I had always experienced in the past. You definately are getting what you are paying for in this instance.

Q: Hi I have a hot water boiler that was converted from oil to gas with a Economite burner using a L4081B Honeywell aquastat (purchase from you). My circulator pump runs constantly. I would like to Control the circulator pump so that it runs only on a call for heat from the Thermostat and cut out when the thermostat is satisfied. Can I use this or any other High limit, Low limit Circulator triple aquastat Relay.

Q: the triple aqua stat I was using was for summer winter hookup.I have put in an electrical hot water tank so I no longer need the burner to come on when I need hot water.Can I use this aqua stat for heating only?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffIt depends. If you have an L8024E1009 , then the cross ref would be L8124E1016. If you have an L8024E1033, then the cross would be part L8124E1016, and if you have an L8024E1058, then the cross reference would be part L8124E1016 as well.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffAccording to the manufacturer, L8124A, C is just a reference to the L8124A and L8124C families of Honeywell Aquastats. There are different specifications for each model in those families.

Q: Could you please tell me what is the difference between the L8124A...1007 and L8124A...1015 triple aquastat controls ? This will be used on a oil hot water boiler.
