beware
I installed this hard start for my 4 tons AC for one week. Today the breaker tripped. I opened up to see what's going on? I found the hard start kit boom. Pop open like fire cracker.

Hard start kitThe product is great.
The product works as advertised. Decided to buy extras once my daughters air conditioner was getting stuck when trying to kick in from the fan cycle to cooling cycle. I called the technician and he came in hooked up one of the kits and the air conditioner kicked in immediately. He charged me $200 for the service call, so since i had 3 other similar air conditioners in the house i bought three more and connected them myself.
